Vycavert® (hydrocodone bitatrate/APAP) Tablets

Vycavert is an immediate release opioid analgesic tablet with a proposed indication for relief of moderate-to-severe pain and is designed to introduce limits and impediments to potential abuse via nasal snorting of crushed tablets and intravenous injection of dissolved tablets.  Vycavert contains two active analgesics: the opioid hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen (APAP).

Status

King Pharmaceuticals Research and Development, Inc. (a subsidiary of Pfizer, Inc.), our development and commercialization partner licensed Vycavert in December 2008.

Development Program

Ongoing development, manufacture and commercialization of Vycavert Tablets is the responsibility of Pfizer.
